At least five people killed and six others injured in Waling jeep accident

Syangja: At least five people died and six others sustained injuries in a jeep accident at Dandakharka of Waling Municipality-12 in Syangja district this morning.

Police inspector Padam Bahadur Thapa informed the deceased have been identified as 65-year-old Bir Bahadur Dala, 45-year-old Heera Dala, 61-year-old Kumari Kanauje, 25-year-old Sharmila Dala, and her 7-month-old son.

Five persons including the driver have been injured.

According to the District Police Office, Syangja, the injured have been taken to Pokhara for treatment.

The jeep heading towards Waling from Dadakharka overturned at 10 am this morning.
