Yellow journalism shouldn’t be allowed in name of press freedom: Chair Oli

March 11, Pokhara: CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said that yellow journalism should not be promoted in the name of freedom.

Inaugurating the ninth National Convention of the Press Chautari Nepal at Pokhara on Friday, Chairman Oli said the media sector should work for national prosperity, good governance, and development.

He said the media sector should fulfil its duty along with rights, saying the constitution has a clear provision in the field of freedom and rights.
