‘Telecommunication Infrastructure Company to be established’

March 17, Kathmandu: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Parbat Gurung has shared that the government is preparing to establish a Tele-communication Infrastructure Company to make the telecommunication services accessible, affordable and reliable to all.

During an interaction with experts of the IT sector at the ministry on Tuesday, Minister Gurung informed about the government’s plan for setting up a separate company for the development of the IT sector.

He also urged the private sector to assist the government to advance the ‘Digital Nepal Frame Work’ and Nagarik App.
