PM’s address to parliament-2: Government is committed to work with sincerity

Prime Minister stated that the government was committed to fulfilling the promises made before the people with all sincerity and dedication.
He reiterated the government would move ahead with full commitment to achieving the national objectives determined in consonance with the aspirations of the sovereign people.
PM Oli maintained that 55 new laws have been enacted, 201 laws have been amended and 13 laws abrogated so far, adding the democracy has become stronger with the implementation of the fundamental rights. He expressed the commitment to expand the East-West highway to four to six lanes, to expedite the works of the Pushpalal highway and to complete the national pride projects, the Upper Tamakoshi Hydroelectricity Project and the Melamchi Water Supply Project within this year.
The Prime Minister also made it clear that the government was committed to taking back the Nepali territory encroached upon by India by holding dialogue regarding the Nepal-India border dispute.
Stating that the coronavirus epidemic that has been seen in the friendly country China would directly impact Nepal also, he appreciated the efforts undertaken by the Chinese government to contain the virus. He also reiterated that the government is seriously working to bring back the Nepali students from China.
