Two Indian nationals arrested with gold and diamond from TIA

Kathmandu : Police here have arrested two Indian nationals with 222 grams diamond and 500 grams gold from Tribhuvan International Airport on Sunday noon.

The team of Nepal Police deployed at the Airport Security Office nabbed Mohamed Mydeen Sathat with diamond and Kottakkuth Kizhakkethil with gold, according to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shyam Lal Gyawali.

Mydeen had reached Nepal from Malaysia boarding Nepal Airline’s flight while Kottakkuth from Dubai. The arrestees had hidden the gold and diamond in their rectum in the form of capsule, informed SSP Gyawali. Further investigation into the case was underway, said the police.
