President Bidya Devi Bhandari lays wreath on Monument for the Great Heroes of People in China

China, April, 29: President Bidya Devi Bhandari who is currently on the nine-day state visit to the People’s Republic of China, visited the Monument for the Great Heroes of People, Tiananmen Square this morning and placed a wreath at the monument.

Upon her arrival at the site, the President was welcomed by a secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, State 3 chief minister Dormani Poudel, Nepal’s Ambassador for China, Leela mani Poudyal; Federal Parliament’s members and (Nepal) government senior officials were present on the occasion.
