Budget will be implemented honestly, Finance Minister says

Kathmandu, May 30: Minister for Finance Bishnu Poudel has assured for the practical implementation of the budget announced for the upcoming fiscal year 2021/22.

At a press briefing at the Ministry today, Minister Poudel said that the Ministry will soon take initiatives to implement the budget after consulting with all the ministries and concerned bodies.

Minister Poudel said that the sufficient budget has been allocated for the elections. He argued that the House of Representatives (HoR) was dissolved as no alternative was left to form the new government.

Minister Poudel said that the government was committed to holding the elections in a free and fearless manner.

On another note, Minister Poudel argued that the government brought the budget of fiscal year 2021/22 in line with the constitution. He said most of the people have welcomed the budget and it would be honestly implemented.
