NC Vice President Sharma Calls for Unity Ahead of Elections
Khajura (Banke), Feb 11 — Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Bishwoprakash Sharma has urged party cadres and supporters to set aside disputes and focus on mobilising efforts in their respective villages and constituencies to ensure strong results in the upcoming House of Representatives election on March 5.
Addressing an election mobilisation and publicity committee meeting in Nepalgunj on Tuesday, Sharma emphasised, “Forget conflicts and differences, and unite for the election.” He noted that the party has undergone a significant transformation following its special general convention.
Sharma highlighted that nearly two-thirds of the NC’s election candidates are newcomers this time, adding that the party has been revitalised following the Gen Z movement. “The NC does not divide—it connects people and the nation,” he said.
He also underscored NC’s long-standing tradition of cooperation, collaboration, and unity, stating that the party continues to inspire hope and trust among the people.
