Country Needs Development and Good Governance: RSP President Lamichhane
Gandaki, Feb 11: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has said that the country is in urgent need of development and good governance, stating that his party has stepped forward to fulfil this responsibility.
Addressing an election publicity programme in Pokhara on Tuesday, Lamichhane expressed confidence that the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) elections would deliver capable leadership for the nation.
He said the RSP is contesting the elections with a strong commitment to good governance and claimed that the party would secure more seats in Parliament compared to the previous elections.
Lamichhane also pledged not to let the aspirations of young martyrs—who sacrificed their lives for justice and good governance—go in vain.
Stating that the March 5 HoR elections would provide a new direction to the country, he emphasised that ensuring good governance, prosperity, and creating employment opportunities within Nepal could help curb the growing trend of youth migration abroad.
