US Indo-Pacific Command Chief Admiral Paparo Arriving in Nepal Tomorrow
Kathmandu, Feb 11: Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command, Admiral Samuel Paparo, is set to arrive in Nepal on Thursday for a three-day official visit.
According to the Nepal Army (NA), Admiral Paparo will hold official meetings during his stay and visit the Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre in Panchkhal.
The NA’s Directorate of Public Relations and Information stated that such high-level visits are expected to further strengthen bilateral relations between Nepal and the United States. The visit is also seen as contributing to enhanced cooperation in areas such as humanitarian assistance, disaster response, and international peacekeeping operations.
Admiral Paparo’s visit is taking place as per a pre-scheduled programme, the Nepal Army added.
