No Budget Constraint for Expanding Health Services in Karnali: Minister Gautam

Jumla, Feb 10 — Minister for Health and Population Dr Sudha Gautam has assured that adequate budget will be allocated for the expansion of health services in the Karnali region.

During her visit to Jumla on Tuesday to inspect the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS), Minister Gautam said the government would ensure there is no shortage of funds for infrastructure development and service expansion at the Academy.

She praised KAHS for its notable contributions to healthcare delivery, research, and academic activities despite operating in challenging geographical conditions and with limited resources.

Emphasising the government’s commitment, Minister Gautam stated that health infrastructure development and the expansion of services in Karnali would not be allowed to slow down due to budgetary limitations.
