Vice President Yadav praises Scout for imparting discipline, leadership quality to youth
Kathmandu: Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has said that empowering youth leadership to make youth disciplined by the Nepal Scout was a positive initiative of the organisation.
At a programme here today organised on the 74th Foundation Day of Nepal Scouts, the Vice President said Scouts have played impressive roles to make children, adolescents and youths righteous, self-dependent and socialite through its continuous efforts.
He viewed that Scout has led the youths to become moral, intellectual and responsible leaders through its social education.
The Vice President also recalled the contributions made by the youth scout volunteers in various times of need across the country. The campaign of scouts for social transformation is crucial, which is being done by prioritising the issues of drug abuse control, health awareness and disaster management, among others.
Vice President Yadav also appreciated the scout members for highlighting Nepal’s identity at the national and international levels through different programmes.
