Lumbini Chief Minister Acharya wins vote of confidence
Dang: Chief Minister of Lumbini, Chet Narayan Acharya, has secured a vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly.

In the Provincial Assembly meeting held today, 45 votes were cast in favour of the vote of confidence motion tabled by Chief Minister Acharya.
The CPN (UML), Nepali Communist Party, Rastriya Janamorcha Party and Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal voted in favour of the motion. Out of 83 members of the Provincial Assembly, 71 participated in the voting process today. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmakers remained neutral in the meeting.
After the Nepali Congress withdrew its support to the provincial government, Chief Minister Acharya sought a vote of confidence from the provincial assembly as per the constitutional provisions.
