Weather conditions likely to remain generally cloudy

Kathmandu: The weather conditions are likely to remain generally cloudy across the country today.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain at a few places in the Himalayan and hilly regions, the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said.

A few places in the Tarai are likely to experience light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces today.

The weather service mentioned that monsoon winds are currently affecting the entire country, and the monsoon trough is positioned near its average position. RSS
