Passport service available in public holidays as well
Kathmandu, Aug 1: To tackle the growing number of service recipients, the Department of Passport has stepped up by offering services in two shifts and even on public holidays.
Today, the service is available at the Department in Tripureshwar. Since July 14, the Department has been opening up 1,500 application forms daily, with employees working in two shifts.
To make works easier for Nepali applicants looking to join Korea’s Employment Permit System (EPS), the Department has been running electronic passport services in two shifts.
The first shift runs from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while the second shift goes from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. On public holidays, including Saturdays and Sundays, the Department will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM to assist service seekers.
