PM Karki thanks all concerned for a successful HoR election

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed gratitude to the officials, staff of security agencies, and all voters who played a significant role in making the recent House of Representatives (HoR) Member election successful. The election was held on March 5.

During a programme held in Janakpur, the capital of Madhesh Province, she highly praised the contributions of security officials, administrative staff, and concerned agencies that were deployed at various levels to ensure the election was conducted peacefully, fairly, and in an orderly manner, even in challenging times, according to the Prime Minister’s press advisor Ram Bahadur Rawal.

Earlier, addressing a security meeting organised at Janakpur Airport today, Prime Minister Karki expressed gratitude towards the provincial government and all security bodies for their significant contribution to holding the election to the House of Representatives peacefully in Madhesh Province and Dhanusha district.

She thanked Minister for Home Affairs, Communications and Law of Madhesh province, Fakira Mahato, high-security officials of the province, and the security chief of Dhanusha for holding the election successfully.

The PM mentioned that the role played by the Madhesh province government and security bodies is commendable in holding the election peacefully amidst various doubts and challenges.

Officiating Chief Secretary of Madhesh Province, Kamal Prasad Bhattarai, Chief of Madhesh Province Police, Deputy Inspector General Govinda Thapaliya, Chief District Officer of Dhanusha Prem Prasad Dahal, as well as chiefs of different security bodies were present in the meeting.
