Nepal unveils ICC T20 World Cup jersey

April 9, Kathmandu: The new jersey for the Nepali national cricket team playing in the ICC T20 World Cup was unveiled in Kathmandu on Monday.

The jersey includes red, white, and blue colours with the national flag on the shoulders and Mt Everest depicted below.

CAN and sponsor logos are also included. Nepal is placed in Group D alongside South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands.

The tournament begins on June 1 and will be played across the USA and West Indies.

Minister for Youth and Sports Biraj Bhakta Shrestha and National Sports Council’s Member-Secretary Tankalal Ghising jointly presented the jersey at a program organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal. This marks Nepal’s second participation in the World Cup, having previously played in 2014.
