Two pedestrians killed in hit-and-run in Pokhara
December 26, Kathmandu: Two pedestrians lost their lives on Monday night in a tragic hit-and-run accident near Zero Kilo in Pokhara Metropolitan City.
Dholandra Chhantyal of Nadipur, Pokhara-3, and another unidentified young man were struck by a car heading towards Zero Kilo from Baglung Bus Park.
Despite being rushed to Paschimancal Regional Hospital, both pedestrians succumbed to their injuries.
The driver of the car has fled the scene and remains at large, while the vehicle has been impounded by the authorities.
The Kaski District Police Office is investigating the accident and actively searching for the driver.
