GCC and MWL condemn Iran’s missile attack on Qatar
June 24, Kathmandu: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi and the Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned Iran’s missile attack on Qatar.
Albudaiwi called the attack a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a threat to GCC states’ security.
He emphasised the unity of GCC countries in supporting Qatar and denounced Iran’s actions as a breach of international laws.
The MWL labelled the attack a violation of Islamic values and humanitarian norms. Albudaiwi urged the UN Security Council and international community to condemn Iran’s aggression, deter further escalation, and promote dialogue for regional stability.
