‘Sudurpaschim Province at high risk of downpour’

Sudurpaschim: Most of the places of Sudurpaschim Province are witnessing rainfall at present.

The Hydrology and Meteorology Office, Attariya has informed that as the effect of low pressure system developed in the Bay of Bengal was shifting towards western belt of the country, this region would see further rainfall from this night.

Chief engineer at the Office, Sanjay Kumar Sah, said we need to remain alert over the possible risk, for the intensity of rain will increase this night.

Sudurpaschim Province needs further preparedness. It will rain heavily from Saturday, triggering floods and landslide, he warned.
