Second general convention of Janamat Party rescheduled

Birgunj (Parsa): The Janamat Party’s second general convention is now set to take place in Birgunj on October 3.

Party spokesperson Chandan Singh announced that the event, originally planned for September 25-26 at the town hall in Birgunj city, has been postponed due to heavy rain occurring for some days.

Singh explained that the adverse weather conditions could create challenges to the travel and logistics of representatives, leaders and supporters coming to Birgunj from across the country. In a press release, the party stated, “While we had completed preparations for the event, the weather forecast made us draw up a new schedule of October 3, prioritizing the safety and convenience of our participants.”

As the party has given a pace to this gathering, the process of registering candidacy for various central positions, including the chairman, has already begun.
