NA meeting today

Kathmandu: The meeting of the National Assembly (NA) is taking place at 1:15 this afternoon.

As shared by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Home Minister Sudan Gurung is scheduled to respond to the questions on the Home Ministry.

Likewise, Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel is also expected to answer the questions of lawmakers on the ministry.

As per today’s parliamentary business, NA Member Kamala Panta is scheduled to draw the attention of the Home Minister on the government’s preparedness for monsoon-induced disaster management.

During the meeting, NA Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal is expected to table a condolence motion in memory of former House of Representatives Member and Constituent Assembly Member Gopal Man Shrestha.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the parliamentary Committee on Education, Health and Information Technology is summoned at 2:00 this afternoon. RSS
