Additional Secretary at MEA, India, Mahawar, pays courtesy call on FM Khanal

Kathmandu: Additional Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Munu Mahawar, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal at the Ministry in Singha Durbar today.

During the meeting, discussions were held on further strengthening the close and enduring ties between Nepal and India in areas of mutual interest, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Additional Secretary Mahawar also called on Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai at the Ministry today.

On the occasion, they reviewed the progress of ongoing bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on advancing the shared agenda in priority sectors.

Reaffirming the longstanding friendship and multifaceted partnership between Nepal and India, they also discussed ways to further deepen institutional collaboration and maintain the momentum of high-level engagement.
