China-Nepal symposium explores development frameworks on CPC’s 105th anniversary

July 4, Kathmandu: A high-level symposium was organized in Kathmandu on Friday to explore shared developmental paths and governance frameworks.

The prominent event was jointly organized by the Friends of Silk Road Club-Nepal, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nepal, and the China–Nepal Center for Political Party Governance Studies.

It was organized on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to discuss historical experience and discover inspirations that can directly benefit Nepal’s own development framework.

During the event, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming delivered an address emphasizing the deep-rooted ties between the two nations and the importance of collaborative state building.

Ambassador Zhang stated that he was pleased to attend the symposium together with many Nepali friends, noting that standing at a new historical starting point, the CPC is willing to work together with all Nepali political parties to continuously strengthen and deepen cooperation, and make a greater contribution to building a China-Nepal community with a shared future.

The symposium witnessed significant high-level engagement as the top brass leaders of major Nepali political parties attended the session to exchange views on regional cooperation, institutional framework building, and long-term national planning.

According to the participants, the event solidified a shared commitment between the participating institutions and political spectrums to continuously strengthen cross-border ties, deepen practical cooperation, and work collaboratively toward sustainable regional prosperity.
