Health Minister Mehta, Chinese Ambassador meet

Kathmandu: The Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, on Monday called on Minister for Health and Food Safety Nisha Mehta at the Ministry in Singhadurbar.

The Ministry’s Assistant Spokesperson Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari said that issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.

On the occasion, Minister Mehta appreciated the assistance extended to Nepal by the Chinese side and the ongoing cooperation in different projects of the health sector.

Minister Mehta shared that Nepal would move ahead by learning from the development achieved by China. During the meeting, Ambassador Zhang wished for impressive progress in Nepal’s socioeconomic sectors.

Assistant Spokesperson Dr Adhikari shared that the Ambassador expressed readiness to cooperate with Nepal in its priority areas.
