HoR nominates members to various thematic committees
Kathmandu: Members have been nominated to various thematic committees of the House of Representatives.
Friday’s meeting of the House of Representatives endorsed the nomination proposal made by Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal.
Accordingly, MPs Arjun Narsingh KC, Kabindra Burlakoti, Gazla Samim Nikrani, Chandan Kumar Singh, Padmakumari Aryal, Bodh Narayan Shrestha, Bhishma Raj Angdembe, Madhu Chaulagain, Ranju Darshana, Rajiv Khatri, Lekhjung Karki and Barshaman Pun have been nominated to the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.
Similarly, 12 members of parliament have been nominated to the State Directive Principles, Policies and Responsibilities Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, which is a joint committee.
The committee includes Ankit Thakur, Ganesh Karki, Geeta Gurung, Janakraj Giri, Narendra Chaudhary, Pushparaj Kandel, Prakash Chandra Pariyar, Pramesh Kumar Hamal, Rajesh Prasai, Ram Lama, Rima Bishwakarma, and Sushant Vaidik.
The meeting nominated 26 members of parliament to the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives, International Relations and Tourism Committee, Consumer and Commerce and Labor Consumer Welfare Committee, Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Agricultural Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, Infrastructure Development Committee, Women and Social Affairs Committee, State Management and Good Governance Committee, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, and Public Accounts Committee.
