Light Rain, Snow Likely in Hilly Regions as Westerly System Influences Weather

Kathmandu, March 29: The country is likely to witness generally cloudy conditions in hilly and mountainous regions today, while the rest of the areas will experience partly cloudy weather.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, there is a chance of light rainfall and snowfall, along with thunder and lightning, at a few places in the hilly and mountainous belts.

The Division stated that the current weather pattern is being influenced by a westerly low-pressure system combined with local winds.

Authorities have advised people in affected areas to remain cautious, particularly in regions prone to sudden weather changes.
