Dhading bus crash: 22 injured undergoing treatment in Kathmandu, one more dies taking death toll to 18
February 23, Kathmandu: Twenty-two passengers injured in the bus accident in Dhadingare undergoing treatment in the capital. Police said a total of 18 people were killed and 26 injured in the accident. Further details are awaited.
The passenger bus met with an accident along the highway in Dhading earlier today while traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
According to Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, spokesperson for the Kathmandu District Police Range, 12 injured are receiving treatment at the National Trauma Center and 10 at National Hospital, Kalanki. Of the 23 injured brought to Kathmandu for further treatment, one succumbed during the course of treatment.
At National Hospital, Kalanki, nine men and one woman are undergoing treatment. At the National Trauma Center, seven men and five women are being treated.
