KMC Mayor Shah resigns

Kathmandu: Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balendra Shah, has resigned from his position.

Mayor Shah’s Secretariat has stated that he has submitted his resignation to Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol, effective from today.

Stating that he resigned voluntarily, Mayor Shah said in his resignation letter that he had tried to work honestly for the benefit of the metropolitan city and its residents during his tenure.
