Siraha District Finalizes 531 Polling Centers for 453,645 Voters
Siraha, Jan 19: Siraha district has finalized election preparations with a total of 453,645 registered voters and 531 polling centers designated across its four federal constituencies.
According to the Office of the Chief Returning Officer, election preparations are being intensified in all constituencies, with final voter and polling center numbers now confirmed.
As per the Election Commission’s latest data, constituency number 1 has 111,949 voters, including 58,855 men and 53,094 women, served by 130 polling centers. Constituency number 2 has 115,760 voters—62,652 men, 53,106 women, and two voters from other categories—with 136 polling centers.
Similarly, constituency number 3 has 119,250 voters, comprising 63,391 men and 55,859 women, with 136 polling centers. Constituency number 4 includes 106,686 voters—56,717 men and 49,969 women—who will cast their votes at 129 polling centers.
Chief Election Officer of Siraha, Dr. Shriprakash Upreti, informed that Chief Election Officer offices have been established in all four constituencies to ensure the smooth and effective conduct of the upcoming elections.
