Taplejung: Computer Training Empowers Blind Individuals

Taplejung, Dec 22: The Taplejung chapter of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh (NNJS) has launched a basic computer training program for visually impaired individuals, aiming to equip them with essential computer skills.

The initiative, supported by Phungling Municipality, seeks to enhance technology access for blind participants and promote their economic independence.

NNJS Taplejung Chairman Narsingh Limbu emphasized that the training will help blind individuals gain practical skills, increasing their opportunities for self-reliance and professional growth.

Currently, 10 visually impaired students are enrolled in the program, which is scheduled to run until the first week of February 2026.
