Public Service Broadcasting Nepal needs citizen-focused approach

Executive Chairman of Public Service Broadcasting Nepal, Dr. Mahendra Bista, has said that the main responsibility of Public Service Broadcasting Nepal is to produce and broadcast content that is of interest to the citizens and truthful by putting the citizens first.

At a program organized at Radio Nepal today in honor of the employees who retired from Public Service Broadcasting, Radio Nepal, Executive Chairman Dr. Bista urged everyone concerned to work by considering past experiences and innovations that need to be provided in a timely manner, as Radio Nepal and Nepal Television have come under the same umbrella as public service broadcasting.

Speaking at the program, Bishnu Ram Neupan, Acting Chief Administrative Officer of Public Service Broadcasting Nepal, said that everyone should learn from the experience of retirement and work for the progress of the organization in the coming days.

On the occasion, Pushkar Raj Gautam, Deputy Executive Director of Radio Nepal, who also retired, said that he continuously worked to enhance the reputation of Radio Nepal.
At the program, Radio Nepal Director Manoj Kumar Chaudhary, Radio Nepal Administration Division Chief Badri Bishal Tandukar, Deputy Director Surendra Prasad Yadav, President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Radio Nepal Chapter, Bhushan Pokharel, and Rachana Shrestha, representing retired employees, expressed their pride in working as a public service broadcaster by taking the interests of the organization, the interests and desires of the people to heart.
