PM Karki urges NFDIN to deliver result-oriented work

Kathmandu, Dec 16: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has asked the National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN) to work more effectively and focus on results to justify its role.

Addressing the 26th Board Council meeting of the Foundation on Monday, PM Karki stressed the need to strengthen implementation and improve performance. The Prime Minister chaired the meeting.

She said the Foundation should play a stronger role in protecting and promoting the cultures of indigenous communities and help showcase Nepal’s diversity. PM Karki also noted that such efforts could contribute to the promotion of tourism.

The meeting approved NFDIN’s institutional reports for the fiscal years 2081/82 and 2082/83 BS.
