Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has expressed sorrow over the passing of former election commissioner Ila Sharma who died due to a heart attack on Saturday.
In his condolence message today, President Paudel has appreciated the role Sharma played as a journalist, stating that it will always be memorable. He recalled that Sharma successfully led the high-level law drafting committee for preparing the draft of the election law, rules, and directives as the election commissioner.
President Paudel has expressed condolences to the bereaved family while paying tribute to the late Sharma.
