Bus accident at Ainapahara along Prithvi Highway

Damauli: A passenger bus fell off the Marsyangdi River at Ainapahara of Aanbukhairani Rural Municipality-2 along the Prithvi Highway in Tanahun district this afternoon.

According to police, the bus (Ga 2 Kha 1077) on its way to Narayanghat from Gorkha plunged into the river.

Police Inspector Tek Prasad Subedi said that five injured persons were rescued and rushed to the Aanbukhairani Hospital. Police shared that rescue operations are ongoing. Details of the accident are awaited.
