Karnali Province to expand cabinet following three-point agreement

Surkhet: Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Mangal Bahadur Shahi, has said that the provincial Cabinet will be expanded soon following a three-point agreement between the CPN-UML and the Nepali Communist Party.

Chief Minister Shahi said discussions are underway regarding the Cabinet expansion and that the process will be completed soon.

He said the delay was due to the need to implement the three-point agreement across all seven provinces.

However, Chief Minister Shahi clarified that government activities in Karnali Province are continuing as usual.

Shahi was elected Chief Minister on July 28 with the support of the CPN-UML.
