Minister Chaudhary insists on proper conservation of natural resources
Janakpurdham: Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Geeta Chaudhary, has stressed the need for prioritising the conservation of forest, environment, agriculture, water, and land.

During her address at a programme held at the Sub Division Forest Office at Dhanushadham Municipality in Dhanusha today, the Minister urged people from all walks of life to take responsibility for the conservation of natural resources.
Minister Chaudhary said, “Human existence will face a crisis without proper conservation of forests and environment.”
Stating that the development of road infrastructure is not enough to lead the country towards prosperity, she emphasised balanced development along with conservation of agriculture, forests, water, land and environment.
Since her childhood, she has been inspired by the mottos of ‘ Green Forest, Nepal’s Treasure’ and ” Nepal, an Agricultural Nation, the Minister expressed her concerns that the agriculture and forest sector are now areas of less priority.
On the occasion, Madhesh Province’s Forest and Environment Minister Shankar Prasad Chaudhary urged all to make collective efforts to protect forests for the continuity of human existence.
The federal Minister took part in the tree plantation programme organised on the Office premises.
