Arya, Khusi winners of singing, dancing competition in USA

Kathmandu, Dec 22: Arya Khanal, 13, and Khusi Adhikari, 13, living in Columbus, USA have become the winners of singing and dancing competition held among the Nepali talents living in seven different cities of the USA.

The children of Nepali origin living in Ohio’s Columbus, Akron, Cincinnati, Pennsylvania’s Harrisburg, Lancaster, Pittsburgh and Scranton participated in the competition.  The two-day competition was organised by the Intra National Welfare and Support Foundation of America from December 20.

Towards singing competition, Digant Gurung of Cincinnati became the first runner up and Kunjan Subedi of Columbus the second runner-up respectively, reads a press statement issued by the Foundation.

Towards dancing competition, Ayusha Chapagain of Lancaster and Samantha Chhetri of Harrisburg stood second and third respectively.

Foundation President Dilli Adhikari said the Foundation had been organising different programmes to attract children of Nepali origin in the USA towards Nepali art and culture for the past one decade.
