Ambassador Rupakheti presents Letters of Credence to German President

Kathmandu: Dr Shail Rupakheti, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to Germany, presented his Letters of Credence to President Frank-Walter Steinmeier during a ceremony at Schloss Bellevue on December 18.

During the meeting, Ambassador Rupakheti conveyed greetings from President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, expressing a commitment to enhance bilateral relations. He also discussed Nepal’s political developments and thanked Germany for its support in Nepal’s socio-economic transformation.

President Steinmeier acknowledged the strong ties between the two countries and recalled a previous meeting with President Paudel on June 17, 2024. Dr. Rupakheti was accompanied by his spouse, Dr. Indira Paudyal, and Mr. Chuman Singh K.C., Third Secretary at the embassy.
