Maoist Centre Chairman congratulates NPL winning team

Kathmandu, Dec 21: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has congratulated the team Janakpur Bolts for emerging as the winner of the first season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Janakpur Bolts clinched the title of the first season of the NPL T20 Cricket Tournament, defeating Sudurpaschim Royals by five wickets. Writing on his social sites, the former Prime Minister congratulated the winning team, Janakpur Bolts, and the first runner-up, Sudurpaschim Royals.

Dahal has stated that this season of NPL has contributed largely to the capacity-building of Nepali cricketers.

Likewise, the Maoist Centre Chairman thanked all the participating teams, organizers, managers, and all other stakeholders for making the tournament a success. —RSS
