One-way Traffic Comes Into Trial Operation at Krishnabhir of Dhading

Kathmandu: The road section at Krishnabhir along the Prithvi Highway in Dhading has been opened to one-way traffic on a trial basis from today.
According to Dhiraj Dhakal, engineer at the Naubise-Muglin Road Project’s western section, trucks and gas bullets carrying essential supplies to Kathmandu that had been stranded on the road have been allowed to pass through Krishnabhir.
The road is currently operating on a trial basis, while further improvements will be made depending on its condition. Two-way traffic will take a few more days as graveling and compaction work remains incomplete.
The road had subsided on the 30th of August after the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli flood eroded its lower section. A new track was opened by cutting into the hillside above the damaged section.
The disruption had affected vehicles travelling to and from Kathmandu, as well as the transportation of daily essentials.
