Revolving fund set up for cultural award
Kathmandu: A revolving fund of Rs 50,000 has been established to institute an award honouring a Nepali journalist for outstanding contribution to the promotion of Nepal’s indigenous identity, culture, spirituality, history and geography.
The revolving fund was established on the initiative of the Religious and Cultural Journalists’ Society, Nepal (RECJON).
Komal Prasad Lamichhane, a resident of Gokarneshwor Municiapality-5, Kathmandu contributed Rs 50,000 as seed money for establishing the fund.
The establishment of the fund was announced in the presence of Bagamati Province Minister for Industry, Labour and Transport, Rajendra Prajapati.
