Photography and Photo-Video Journalism Training concluded
Kathmandu: A 30-day Photography and Photo-Video Journalism Training jointly conducted by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Film Development Board concluded here on Sunday.

In the concluding ceremony, Acting Mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Sunita Dangol, provided the letters of appreciation to chief trainers Rajbhai Suwal, Pradeep Raj Onta, Shreedhar Paudel, Omlal Akela and Rajan Maharjan.
On the occasion, Dangol said such skill-focused training would make crucial contributions to creating employment and orient the youths towards self-employment. She urged the participants of the training to utilise their skills for effective publicity of touristic, cultural and historical heritages of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
A total of 35 participants were present in the training programme. Likewise, Chairman of Film Development Board, Dinesh DC, said that such programmes implemented for the professional growth of journalists and photojournalists would be conducted in the coming days as well.
On the occasion, the first unit still photographer of the Nepali movie industry, Manjul Kumar Shrestha, and senior film poster designer Sundar Shrestha were honoured with a cash prize of Rs 35,000 each.
