Rescue operation continues in Bhotekoshi, Home Minister visits site
Kathmandu: Rescue operations are continuing after an electric vehicle plunged into the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa, leaving its driver missing.
Home Minister Sudhan Gurung visited the accident site at Syaphrubesi in Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-5 today to encourage security personnel and review the ongoing search operation.
Chief District Officer Narendra Pariyar said divers and rescue teams from all three security agencies, along with ten drones, have been mobilized to search for the missing driver, 22-year-old Sabin Tamang of Kalika Rural Municipality-3.
The District Disaster Management Committee is coordinating the operation. Officials said the search has been hampered by the deep gorge, murky water and difficult terrain at the accident site.
