Subedi elected INLS President
Washington DC (America): Litterateur and poet Lal Gopal Subedi has been elected President of the International Nepali Literary Society (INLS).
Similarly, Tara Adhikari has been elected as senior vice-president, while Raju Sitaula as General Secretary and Shakun Gyawali as vice president (America), as per the election results published on Friday.
Rajendra KC, Dr Paras Mani Dangal, Hari Maya Adhikari, Maheshwor Panta and Mira Koirala are the members of the newly elected executive committee.
Likewise, Dinesh Raj Gyawali, Raj Shrestha, Dr Prakash Poudel, Rishav Raj Ghimire and Pushpa Khanal have already been elected as vice-president (Asia), vice-president (Europe), vice-president (Oceania), secretary and treasurer, respectively.
The Society, active for the past three decades, is an organisation dedicated to promoting, preserving, and developing Nepali language, literature, art and culture around the world. RSS
