Sale of fuel in order: NOC
Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation has claimed that the problem seen in the sale and distribution of petroleum products has been resolved.

The queue seen at some fuel pumps was due to low stock. Fuel from the Thankot depot has now been distributed as per demand in Kathmandu valley, said NOC spokesperson Manoj Thakur.
Spokesperson Thakur said, “The problem seen in the sale and distribution of petroleum products has been resolved. There is no problem as of now.”
Following a sudden increase in consumer volume at pumps in major cities, including the Valley, the NOC had carried out onsite monitoring of some fuel pumps at the instructions of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
Fuel pumps in the Kathmandu Valley today picked up 1.3 million litres of diesel and 1.3 million litres of petrol from the NOC depot in Thankot, Spokesperson Thakur said. More than 130 fuel pumps are operating inside the Valley alone.
