Land Management Ministry highlights 48 achievements in government’s first 100 days

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, under the leadership of Minister Pratibha Rawal, has reported 48 major achievements during the government’s first 100 days.

The ministry said it launched the ‘Mero Kitta’ mobile app, enabling services such as map printing and field book uploads online, with 4,779 institutional users already registered. It also distributed 29 land ownership certificates to landless Dalits, squatters and unorganized settlers.

According to the ministry, Rs 26.3 million was refunded to 1,754 cooperative savers, while loans worth Rs 43.28 million were recovered from 154 borrowers. It also deployed chief administrative officers to 223 local governments and expanded survey and land revenue services to six local levels.

The ministry said other key achievements include transferring the Baluwatar Prime Minister’s residence land to the Government of Nepal, introducing online employee transfer and record systems, preparing the Civil Service Bill draft, and advancing legal reforms related to land, cooperatives and local governance.
