PM Shah holds talks with EU envoys on cooperation and bilateral ties

May 26, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Balendra Shah held a joint meeting with ambassadors and deputy heads of mission from 22 European Union (EU) member states today.
The meeting, held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, focused on Nepal’s current priorities, strengthening bilateral relations, and expanding cooperation in various sectors.
The visiting delegation, led by the head of the Delegation of the EU to Nepal, Véronique Lorenzo, is in Nepal as part of a two-day mission to enhance engagement with the country’s new government and promote cooperation in trade, investment, climate action, and development.
The EU diplomats also held meetings with Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal and Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel, and interacted with business representatives and civil society leaders during the visit.
