Nepal opens applications for 2,300 caregiver jobs in Israel

May 27, Kathmandu: Nepal’s Department of Foreign Employment has opened applications for 2,300 caregiver jobs in Israel under a labour agreement between the two countries.

The recruitment is for employment in Israel’s long-term care sector. According to the department, 60 percent of the positions are reserved for women and 40 percent for men.

Selected workers will receive a monthly salary of 6,443.85 Israeli shekels, equivalent to around NRs 347,000. Additional benefits including overtime pay, annual leave, food and accommodation facilities will also be provided.

Candidates are required to upload documents including an English language proficiency certificate, police clearance report, health documents and a self-declaration form.

Applicants must be between 25 and 45 years old and should have relevant training or work experience in caregiving. The notice also states that applicants must be at least 1.5 metres tall and weigh a minimum of 45 kilograms.

Applications can be submitted online through the department’s foreign employment management system until 5 PM on Asar 17, 2083.

The selection process will be conducted through a lottery system.
