US Envoy calls on Foreign Minister Khanal, discusses bilateral ties

April 8, Kathmandu: Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the US Embassy in Nepal, Scott Urbom, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Urbom extended congratulations to Minister Khanal on assuming office. The two sides also held discussions on various aspects of Nepal–US bilateral relations, according to the Ministry.

The meeting is seen as part of ongoing diplomatic engagements between Nepal and the United States, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
